Okay, so today, I bought Sims 3. I was all excited to be able to create different characters and even an entire Hetalia neighborhood and do all this other stuff that you really couldn't do in Sims 2. Such as a complete lack of LOADING SCREENS! In Sims 2, if you wanted to go to another lot, you'd have to wait for it to load. In Sims 3, there are no loading screens. AT ALL. That is win, I say. WIN.

So, anyway, I install it and start installing some custom content from MODTHESIMS, such as some really cool lookin' houses and yeah...
When it comes time for me to start the game up, however, it doesn't let me. It explains that I need a new video card, because the one I have does not support Pixel Shader 2.0 or some other shit that Sims 3 apparently needs.

This is why I want a MAC.
And also the reason why MAC's should be more affordable. >___>

If I had a MAC, I wouldn't have this problem. I wouldn't have to pay a load of money for a high-end video card just to play a game. And I wouldn't have to keep updating shit, ALL THE FUCKING TIME! Or worry about viruses, hackers ... etc.
MAC has none of that shit. WINDOWS, however, does and it drives the living shit outta me. DD<

So, needless to say, I'm upset.

I just bought a game with the intention of being able to play it at least an hour after I got home. Instead, my fucking computer decides that I can't and that I need to pay more money just to be able to do so. I could also go on about how I hate today's economy, as well, but I won't. I'll just stick to swearing my mouth off at my computer and at WINDOWS for being such a PAIN IN THE ASS.

My dad told me that he'll "see what he can do" on the matter, but to me, that just means that he'll take months before he'll even get to buying a new video card for me. I'm not going to take that. If I have to, I will personally go to his work with him just to make sure that he gets me my goddamn video card and puts me on the top of his priority list. 'Cause I swear, that man couldn't give a shit. :/ He thinks that whatever I'm interested in is completely worthless, so he won't do anything about the matter right away.
And you wonder why he gets no respect from me. D<

And yes, I am aware that I'm just like the rest of today's society and it's law of instant-gratification.
Who can blame me?
My father SHOULD be putting me on the top of his priority list, anyway. I am his daughter.
No, I'm not asking him to drop everything and become my servant, but I would really appreciate it that he took me, my feelings and my happiness into consideration for once.
